If you thought you were out of luck during Easter with your clutch of dark brown eggs, you were wrong.  Coloring dark eggs simply takes a different dye recipe.

• 1/3 C vinegar
• 45 drops of liquid food coloring
• 1/2 C boiling water

The above mixture is needed for each color.  You will need a pretty large cup for this.  I usually just do red, yellow, green, and blue.

The yellow will turn your dark brown egg a very nice orange.  The yellow above was done with a light brown egg.  All the other eggs were very dark brown.
